Pattonville is one of four districts in the nation that will be honored with a Pinnacle of Achievement Award from the Association of School Business Officials International (ASBO) this fall. The award recognizes districts for their resourcefulness and creativity in solving challenges and championing education and creating innovative solutions to maximize resources and enhance student achievement. The award will be presented to Mary Jo Gruber, Pattonville’s chief financial officer, during ASBO’s fall conference.
Each month during the school year, the Pattonville Board of Education honors students, staff and volunteers who have gained recognition outside of the district or who’ve made a special contribution to Pattonville. Learn more about students and staff who were recognized in June.
The Pattonville School District is excited to announce the upcoming launch of its new website on Friday, June 14. Last fall, we surveyed users and learned our community wanted a site that is accessible, searchable and easy to navigate to find essential resources. We focused on that and much more on the new website and wanted to share some of the exciting changes you will see.

Drummond Elementary School partners with Kids Vision for Life (KVFL) to ensure students have the resources they need to be able to learn. The program provides comprehensive vision services to elementary and middle school students in the St. Louis area at no cost to families. At Drummond, they screen each student’s vision and then provide eye exams with any students who need additional review. If a student needs glasses, they will provide glasses free of charge, and if a student breaks or misplaces them, KVFL will also give them replacement glasses.

Drummond Elementary School’s annual PTO chili cook-off is not just a night of friendly competition, but an opportunity for the school community to come together for camaraderie and bonding. The cook-off is a spirited competition where teachers, staff and even the local police and fire departments prepare their own signature chili recipes. To add an extra layer of creativity, teams decorate their tables and don costumes based on their chosen theme.
