Board Actions

The board of education on July 25:

  • Reviewed and accepted the 2023-2024 board Committee and School Liaison assignments;
  • Heard an update on Prop S construction work; view the presentation;
  • Approved paying $3,674,428.36 for regular bills;
  • Approved paying $434,370.45, for purchases made on Pattonville’s purchasing cards, which earned the district a rebate of 1% (or $4,343.70);
  • Declared a list of items as surplus to be sold on the district’s GovDeals.com page;
  • Approved the Pre-K tuition rates for the 2023-2024 school year;
  • Approved the meal prices for the 2023-2024 school year;
  • Approved a resolution authorizing and directing the issuance, sale and delivery of  general obligation bonds;
  • Approved the revised amendment to the economic agreement between the Pattonville School District and the Pattonville Educational Support Professionals (PESP) for the 2023-2024 school year;
  • Waived the lodging of and approved the revisions to policies GCE-R-1 (Part-Time and Substitute Professional Staff Employment and Call Center Procedure), GDBB-R (Overtime/Extra Time Compensation for Non-Exempt Support Staff) and GDE-R (Support Staff/Substitute Staff) ;
  • Approved paying $6,780 to Tueth, Keeney, Cooper, Mohan & Jackstadt for legal services;
  • Approved the purchase of Palo Alto firewall service subscription from Burwood Group, Inc., for $193,638.10;
  • Approved the purchase of the Google Workspace for Education standard plan from CDW-G for $18,600;
  • Approved the purchase of the laptop replacements for principals, directors and community relations from Apple, Inc., for $76,658; and
  • Approved the plan design and premiums of the district's health insurance for the 2024 fiscal school year.
