Carley Tankersley - Principal 

A Drummond graduate herself, Carley Tankersley was selected as the school's principal beginning in the 2026-2027 school year. Previously, she was the school’s assistant principal for four years. Tankersley taught third and fourth grades at Drummond after joining Pattonville in 2016. She was named an administrative intern at Parkwood Elementary School in 2020. A 2012 Pattonville graduate, Tankersley earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Graceland University and a master’s degree in school administration and a specialist degree in school administration from Lindenwood.

Dr. Molly Alferman - Assistant Principal 

In 2026, Dr. Molly Alferman stepped into the role of the assistant principal at Drummond. Prior to this, Alferman was the administrative intern at Hancock Place Elementary School and was previously a summer school administrator and elementary teacher in the Affton School District. She has a bachelor’s degree with elementary education from Missouri Baptist University; a master’s degree in gifted, talented and creative education from Arkansas State University; and a master’s degree in educational administration and doctorate in educational leadership from Maryville University.
