Board Actions

The board of education on May 9:

  • Heard updates from the district's policy review and facilities committees;
  • Reviewed and accepted an evaluation of the district’s Title I program; read the report or view the presentation;
  • Reviewed and accepted an evaluation of the district’s English learner program; read the report or view the presentation;
  • Reviewed results from the district’s climate survey data; view the presentation;
  • Approved paying $2,259,043.50 for regular bills;
  • Approved, subject to audit, the financial statements through April 2023;
  • Approved paying $356,774.97, for purchases made on Pattonville’s purchasing cards, which earned the district a rebate of 1% (or $3,567.75);
  • Approved the bond issue projects contract adjustment change orders totaling $776,482;
  • Adopt the System Design Zone Resolution; view the resolution;
  • Approved payment to EducationPlus for the 2023-2024 learning service credits for $11,770;
  • Approved the May transportation route miles for the 2022-2023 school year;
  • Approved payment to EducationPlus for the balance of the 2022-2023 annual membership dues (40%) for $13,726.35;
  • Approved payment to Missouri School Boards' Association (MSBA) for 22023-2024 membership dues for $11,545;

  • Approved paying $4,543 to Tueth, Keeney, Cooper, Mohan & Jackstadt for legal services;
  • Awarded the bid for employee healthcare clinic to Care ATC with an estimated cost of $442,554 for the first year (savings of $123,915); $455,592 for the second year (savings of $193,627); and $469,122 for the third year (savings of $261,816);
  • Approved the agreement for Adaptive Schools Training to Pandora Taylor - Coaching H.O.P.E., LLC, for $13,949.32, and Toni Prickett - Regional Insights for $16,654, for a total of $30,603.32;
  • Approved the purchase of the Mach 6 digital color printer for the print shop from Bowman's Solutions LLC, for $16,796;
  • Awarded the bid for construction testing and special inspections to Geotechnology for an estimated $96,500;
  • Approved the online enrollment software bid to Explain My Benefits with an implementation year cost estimated at $75,683 and an ongoing annual cost estimated at $58,933; costs will be reduced by credits from work site product sales in addition to receiving a $10,000 technology credit from the district's medical provider;
  • Approved the auditing services agreement to Kerber, Eck & Braeckel, LLC, at an annual cost of $28,000 for the first year; $30,000 for the second year; $32,000 for the third year; $34,000 for the fourth year; and $36,000 for the fifth year;
  • Approved the purchase of furniture for the Pattonville High School library and training conference room from Office Essentials for $119,560.97; and
  • Approved the purchase of various furniture and installation for the Pattonville Learning Center from Modern Business Interiors in the amount of $168,017.14.
